European regulation is evolving rapidly – and for our industry, staying informed is no longer optional.


In the coming years, a range of EU initiatives will increasingly shape how promotional products are designed, sourced, marketed, and communicated. Topics such as sustainability claims, product design requirements, transparency obligations, and reporting standards are gaining momentum across Brussels.


What does this mean for the promotional products industry?It means moving beyond reactive compliance towards early understanding and strategic preparation. Regulations like the Green Claims framework or Ecodesign principles will not only affect products themselves, but also how value chains, documentation, and communication are structured.


At EAC, we closely monitor regulatory developments at European level and support our member associations in understanding their implications. Our goal is not to take positions too early, but to create clarity, share knowledge, and enable informed dialogue across borders.
